Why I see most people are downrating this anime is because of the plot and story. There is almost no plot other than Sion wanting to save No.6 from the parasitic bees. Other than that, which isn't mentioned a lot, there's no plot. The story doesn't really develop a whole lot either but it's entertaining.
It has a good amount of action, comedy, romance and gory scenes to make it a good anime. There are some things I didn't like which is perfectly normal since no anime is perfect. I didn't like it when Sion and Nezumi "changed personalities" in a late episode. It didn't seem like them so I was practically screaming and crying at my laptop to stop. Also the last scene made me want to kill my laptop because it was just so bad. "Let's go, Hamlet" was the last sentence... REALLY?! Now I have to read the novel so I won't stay up thinking about what happens after that because I heard that it tells you in the novel. What really bothered me is what Nezumi kept telling Sion. Whenever Sion asked Nezumi why he hated No.6 he we would say, "I'll tell you later" or just avoid the question entirely. So we NEVER FOUND OUT WHY HE HATES NO.6!!
So basically the first episode was good. The second was also good. The third was getting off the plot. Then from episode four to seven or so there was no development in the plot whatsoever. I was perfectly fine with that since it still entertained me. Then from eight to eleven the plot came about again and then the series ended three episodes later.
This anime is all how you see it and on what type of anime you like. If you're okay with not having plot development then go right ahead and start on this! If you absolutely need a plot then I wouldn't bother with this although it was very good.
Now to start the novel... :D
