The hype you'll get after seeing the 1st episode is crazy, but if you set the bar too high, it's really hard to maintain the quality.
"Oshi no Ko" brings a different setup, and just for being different of the whole reincarnation thing it's already good.
The main plot itself goes to another path and for that reason, I think some guys may get a little disappointed, even upset by the turn of the events. The thing is, "Oshi no Ko" have an incredible animation, a good story and characters, so you may enjoy the show, but, if after seeing the 1st episode you get too hyped, you'll be desolated after seeing the whole show. I, myself enjoyed but I'll be lying if I say that I didn't get even a little bit disappointed with "Oshi no Ko".
