Chaotic and Amazing. I went into this show not expecting much and was blown away, just barely off from a 10. The story is funny in a unique way, the characters are consistent and relatable and the references. You need to watch at least Haruhi before this, because there are so many Haruhi references. References to other shows as well. Name drops out of nowhere or flat out using a scene from another show. You can't predict where this show goes, but you will want to follow it regardless. Don't even get me started on Lucky Channel. The only reason this show is not a 10 would have to be the chibi style animation and some voice acting. Some people may like the animation style, all I can say is that it is very of the time. Also almost all female background characters are voiced very obviously by men, and I'm assuming this was a conscious choice, but it didn't suit in my opinion.
TL;DR:
Watch 100%, but after other shows of the time, Haruhi or Initial D (Classics)
