Mixed Feelings
Ninja Kamui is probably about what you'd expect from a revenge theme anime. The first 3 or 4 episodes are probably the best in the entire series in terms of animation, fight scenes and the story is quite captivating. But after the introduction of mechs, the show really does go a downhill, especially the chereography in the fights scenes in later episodes. (It's all really 3D/ CGI fights).

When I first heard Sunghoo Park was directing this (Director of Jujutsu Kaisen S1), a lot of people had high expectation for Ninja Kamui, including myself, but sadly, it did not live up to the hype that was built around it. It's a pretty solid anime overall, and I would recommend it to anyone who just love watching core action anime, even if the theme of the show (revenge) is a bit generic. E&H Production Studios, however, have shown that they are capable of producing high-quality action anime, so I do hope to see them adapt action manga in future. Ninja Kamui is definetely not up there with one of the great new gen action anime, but it's not bad either. I'll give it a 7/10. (Btw, it had a banger opening, I'll gove it that)
