The good
Contender for the best action sequences I've come across.If you want to watch a show with great action that's Shonen without the magic this show is right up your alley.
The Meh
The fight sequences are 10/10 the story drags the show down to an 8/10. It may have cleared the bar for animation and fight sequences but it hit exactly where it meant to story and dialogue wise. The plot is generic by Shonen standards, lone wolf brawler wants to become the strongest. Learns how to be part of a pack. It does a good job with the idea, it's nothing groundbreaking storywise.
Don't bother with Windbreaker if:
An anime about teenagers brawling everywhere with no adults, or any form of authority outside of might makes right existing doesn't sound like your thing. There is more depth than I was expecting, not enough to help it be more than what it set out to be.
