So like yk how everyone's on summer break right now and doing exiting things?
well I am , but theirs nothing to do so this i the start of my reviews because I plan to watch my entire watch list this summer!

I think for my first entry it should be one that I love and oh boy how I love this.

Madoka Magica paved the way for the 3 episode rule in my opinion. It starts out slow but even then theirs still mystery into what goes on I want this review to be spoiler free so ill just say , nothing comes out of nowhere. The entire plot has a reason , every scene has a reason and isn't mindless filler for the episode before a fight scene , every movement and choice they made adds to the show.

Animation: 9/10
The scenes are cool and have a flow unlike a lot of other anime iv scene , having said that its a little wonky at times but hey its a 2014 anime what are you going to do? Transitions and cinematography are amazing and the placement sometimes is just really smart!

Music: 11/10
Going along with the transitions and cinematography , each scene has a sort of feel to it with its own soundtrack that genially makes it whole. Sometimes with anime or shows i general the music can seem a little off at times or be just a weird choice but they don't do that with Madoka Magica. Not only does it follow the background but also the feelings of the characters which takes the icing on the cake

Plot 11/10
Now as I typed before I don't want to spoil this show because I think watching it with very little knowledge has a big role BUT having said that they go along with the original story to a T and thats what makes it so great. Now I will say their is a twist, "oh but kiot but every story has a twist" NOT LIKE THIS ONE. I have to agree with a critique that they may fall back on the plot twist a little to much but they make up for it by explaining it so it really doesn't dock points for me

Design 9/10
To be honest the designs are basic but their eye appealing and thats all it takes for me. The colors go together nicely and the whole pastel cutesy world and art style really contrasts with the plot nicely and I think its a great blend.

All in all if I could recommend only one show it would be this one , there's so many theory's and ideas you can play up simply by thinking a little into the plot just a tad. Theirs layers to this show , like an onion , and the plot is the broth , add in desing animation and music and what you have is a good soup!

10/10 soup!
