The first episodes were good enough that they made me skip it and read the webtoon first. The webtoon was amazing, but I don’t feel the same way about the anime. I think I am biased. I might have liked it better if I didn’t read the webtoon first. But seeing as I did, I can’t take that experience away and I found the anime quite disappointing. I thought they were too clumsy about keeping the anime interesting. They filled with a lot of unimportant details and scenes with bored the spirits out of me. I was also angry seeing it unfold: it could have been so good. So good. They had really good material and they could have made an excellent 12 anime production with only the interesting things, even if it was fast paced. They decided to skip making it good and concentrated on random stuff instead.
I did enjoy parts of it, but I’m unsure whether I recommend it or not. If you haven’t read the webtoon, you might like it more, I suppose. The fighting scenes were quite good and they did give us a good glimpse at the character development, so it wasn’t all bad. I enjoyed some episodes and got very flustered about others. I am sad to say that some parts bored me greatly (it pains me to admit it, but what can you do). I will watch another series of it if they make it, though.
