The second half of Mushoku Tensei Season 2 continues its march towards mediocrity. Absolute filler episode vibes, with the main character not learning anything new about himself, and no dynamics changing in the story line. The world building set up in the first season, with a journey spanning CONTINENTS and diverse cultures has been focused down to a single magic university where fundamentally nothing is learned, and where the main character just visits a library every day to read books of no value.
They appear to be fabricating intense emotional conflicts out of pure air and then designing an episode to diffuse the situation, or concocting a story line based off of juvenile tropes that our 50+ year old mental protagonist stumbles through in his arrested development ways.
I can't get the time back from watching these episodes, but I hope you can before it's too late.
