Mixed Feelings
Spoiler
This manhwa starts off with an exhilarating premise, immersing readers into a world of game-like abilities in real life. The initial excitement hooks readers in, promising a thrilling adventure ahead. However, as the story progresses, it begins to lose its momentum and the excitement fades.

One of the main drawbacks of the manhwa is the lackluster explanation of the event that caused the protagonist's abilities. This pivotal moment feels underwhelming and fails to live up to the expectations set by the intriguing premise.

Moreover, the world-building is severely lacking. The story primarily takes place in a specific location, with little exploration of the broader world. This narrow focus limits the scope of the narrative and prevents readers from fully immersing themselves in the setting.

Additionally, the cast of characters feels underused and unexplored. Many characters are introduced but not completely explored, leaving me craving more depth and complexity.

While the art style is decent, it fails to compensate for the shortcomings in the plot and character development. As the story progresses, plot holes begin to emerge, and many areas remain unexplored, leaving feeling unsatisfied.

Overall, "Ultra Alternate Character" had potential but fell short in execution. Despite its promising start, the lack of world-building, underdeveloped characters, and dull plot progression ultimately make it a mediocre read. However, readers may still find some enjoyment in the initial excitement and the concept of game-like abilities in real life.
