it feels like it would be a national crime to even compare the art styles of the 2 parts but as a part 1 standalone it was fine/decent(positive kind). it was kind of generic but has a flare of uniqueness.
my experience with this series as a whole was me reading a lil of dark lady first, stopped early forgot about the series and came back to finish the whole series when i found this. i decided to read this first then go continue dark lady from the start and as of writing this review i am at 189 of dark lady. comparisons between the origin and dark lady will be inevitable as i still remembered some of dark lady even as i was reading the origin.
as a whole this manhwa is more like a prequel to fill some gaps and explain some part of the mc for dark lady instead of its own actual origin story. imo if u want to read it to fill the small gaps of the mc's previous world but its definitely not a requirement.
