I don't like the edginess and killing parts but I like the character designs, (especially atou lol), and the direction the story is going in is not all that bad. Of course, because of the lack of chapters, I didn't get to fully enjoy it, but for what there is, it's quite good in my opinion. It scratched the itch for an isekai that wasn't a total power fantasy, with aesthetically pleasing characters and an interesting and unique take that I was looking for, but since I ran out of chapters to read, I'll have to find another. There is a lot of contradictory and unnecessary killing and stuff that the characters said previously they didn't support, but I believe there may be some sort of redemption in future chapters where they realize what they have done wrong. If not, then I'll unfortunately have to give up on the series, as I don't want to just read some edgy murder and conquest fantasy. It's not as bad as I'm making it out to be, but it's still not a good direction in my opinion. Only time will tell, and it'll probably be months before the next chapter releases.
This serves less as a review and more me just sharing my thoughts on the topic, but I at least tried to make it somewhat helpful. It's really up to you if you'll like this manga, and you should pay attention to others' reviews.
By the way, this is rather biased. I'd have put it at a 6 if Atou wasn't in it. Yes, I read it solely because I liked Atou. Still though, she did have some edgy scenes which I didn't enjoy at all.
