A classic, shounen anime featuring arcs of adventure, tribulation, action-packed matchups, and notable characters for their characterization and backstories throughout the show. For me, I think it is an enjoyable show to watch. The only complaint I have was there wasn't enough in a way that the show ended abrupt, in my opinion.

Animation (7.5/10) - The animation quality and characteristic is already showing of its age as the quality of modern anime progresses; Nonetheless, I think it can be forgivable considering it came out for awhile now. Although for its time, I think it was alright. It wouldn't affect the experience much anyway, if you give majority of your attention in the plot.

Storyline (9/10) - The way its storyline progresses is very linear, but is VERY rich and flexible at the same time. It follows a sensible chronological order of arcs, while also not being too fixated on the protagonist at the same time. It makes the side characters more personable and adds more weight to the contribution they provide on the plots. It was great.

Soundtrack (8/10) - A good majority of its soundtracks for the opening were inspiration-inducing; Very fitting for a shounen anime. But it also has a lot of versatility throughout. A lot of it were masterful for the atmospheres and emotions they want to set in. For example, Uvo's Rquiem, Phantom Troupe Theme and Hisoka's Theme. Check it out and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Overall - 8.16 out of 10
