Preliminary (19/19 chp)
The art style and shocking introduction to a brutal scene is your first slap in the face to the horrors that this manga is about to showcase. Cutting to a more mundane office scene is where you meet our main protagonist, Dan !

Due to this manga being on hiatus for almost the past two years as of writing this, I hesitate to give a score of 10, as the main story has not been fully fleshed out year and Dan's past has only been teased. That being said, I still definitely recommend, there are only 19 chapters (nice and short read) !! This is a manga I continually re-read as each unique chapter and Dan's persona keep me coming back for more.

His character quirks and his stiff but silly interactions with his co-workers quickly add to his personality and establish this manga's less dark and gloomy atmosphere than most out there, but be warned. This manga contains gor*, rap*, sui*, death, and probably some other triggering topics. Through the episodic chapters, we get more chances for Dan's unique personality to shine through, like his passion for classic movies, love for innocent creatures, and desire for justice. He truly is just trying to be a 'hero of justice'-- pretty good for a homicide investigator, right ?

To which manga brings up an interesting topic: what does it mean to be evil ? Or even do good ? Dan certainly believes he is doing "good deeds", as that is his motivation for hunting down criminals who did not receive capital punishment. Throughout his endeavors, Dan always stays straightforward about his goal of punishing those he deems guilty(and they all are), but to what extent is his punishment too extreme or for personal pleasure ?
