As a surprising fact the show has one of the most on point humour for its type. The things Kagenou (main character) does to stay in character (trying to be a background character for example) brings the funniest jokes to the show. Especially when he fails during the process. Also, these kind of jokes makes the show more unique for its genre, and gives a reason to continue.
This pharagraph may contain some minor spoilers for the first two episodes. During the first few episodes, the setting and development of the everything like Kagenou getting a crew under his Shadow character and instantly breaking the rules of the world with average opportunities he gets does the show unsettling and rushed. At the same time almost all of the interactions he has are with girls, and this makes show to became a harem as well. As a viewer it's not that bad to watch a harem anime. Furthermore, Kagenou's interaction with girls when he acts like a background character are the most fun parts of the show. But the followers he gathered during the earlier in the show makes it a bit unsettling.
Finally, it can easily be stated the show has some unique elements that has a value to be seen. Yet the generic themes make it suffer as well. If you're into overpowered characters in general and wasn’t some spice it's definitely you show. Otherwise, it can be recommended for the animation and comedy aspect. But it's not a good advice to watch for who are get bored of the concept, and who cannot stand harem elements in a show.
