Despite the story being short enough to be read in one sitting, the pacing feels fine and everything ends with no loose ends. The drama is interesting and mostly delves into matters such as working towards one's goal, dealing with envy, and the desire to be acknowledged. As for the romance, it is there, it is wholesome and definitely feels complete; it is not the main focus however. I suppose you call this genre "coming-of-age".
The characters are mostly relatable. The FMC being a manipulative gaslighting specialist for some chapters aside (again, it is a short read anyway), I think that one will find the resolution that plays out from then on rewarding regardless. Additionally, in spite of her questionable personality, she is undeniably cute. That is something to look forward too if you are not a fan of unhinged levels of deception, unlike me. That segues into the art. It is thankfully pleasant to look at, which is appropriate for a manga talking about art.
At any rate, if this manga ever gets translated, give it a shot. Be it that you enjoy art, romance, characters that are always on the grind or straight up sociopathic, I think there is something to be found either way.
"Satake Akihito is a 16 years old teenager who enjoys drawing and uploading his artwork on Hachitter (a slang term for Twitter). Although he doesn't care about other people's opinions, his recently viral drawing has garnered significant attention. Satake greatly admires an artist named Risumaru-san and hopes that Risumaru-san's works can also be seen by more people.
