I absolutely like parents-child dynamic. This is what I strive for, to see some wholesome scenes of family acting like a family. And this is what it has done the best. Everyday day of parents trying their best to contain the havoc the children cause, with children being cute and throwing their usual tantrums and scheming their plans.
About the story, while it started off as a pretty good slife-of-life with a storyline, but evolved into just a pretty good slife-of-life. Arcs which could have been a lot longer and more fleshed out just gets concluded after a couple of chapters. Things tend to get a bit repititive, they don't expand off the scenes with a deeper tone which would make a interesting story. But the authors know that as well as they themselves have confirmed all this and that they don't want to dabble into the storyline rabbit hole but are rather trying to keep it as light as possible. And I don't hate them for that. But it does make me strike some points off for the story. Though with recent chapters it did offer us some interesting dynamic of spirit hunters and beasts and I absolutely loved it. Also introduced a part of the backstory of the love life of parents which I felt is a good addition and I am hoping it will be more frequent in the upcoming chapters.
Art is absolutely a candy for eye. Comes off as clean and sleek, looks beautiful, fits the atmosphere of the manhwa, what else do you even possibly need?
Also about the character design, I think they nailed it excluding a certain character which I will talk about in a bit. After reading the manhwa, the design for both mother and the children are spot on. Children are cute and do best what they do, being cute. The mother is drawn as a beautiful woman but she does exude a motherly aura. But the problem comes with the design of the father. While he did got the Saitama face but sadly didn't get that main characeter treatment. He just blends in with the background making him a little bit less relevant to the point where I think they should atleast give him a chapter solely focused on him. About the different side characeters introduced, while there are a lot more characeters than I initially expected, the authors makes them likeable that I don't even think about it.
At the end of the day what matters is that:-
Is it a good manhwa? - Yes
Is it an enjoyable one? - Yes
Then that is all I need.
