But after sometime and rewatching it i understood that it had the potential to be one of the greatest anime but they missed it.
Kirito is trapped in an game and tries to finish it in order to escape from the game.
To see Kirito getting stronger as a lone wolf was interesting to watch. All the comrades he met on his way getting some episodes was great. Also the romance with asna wasnt to much and fit perfect in.
Then the second part in order to safe his girlfriend he had to play an other game with an Op Character from his old account. It was interesting to see what he all takes and does in order to save his loved one.
But to be honest after rewatching it some years later i was unsatisfied.
I would have loved to see more of the world of Sword Art Online especially how Kirito got that strong and to see more of the floors it was like 3 episodes staying on floor 1. and then bam they reached floor 40 and Kirito is super strong. They could have done so much more out of it and i would have loved it.
The End of the first Arc was also rushed.
Bam some episodes and they are on floor 75 he killed Akihiko Kayaba by a bug where he stayed alive after dying. It was too fast like they rushed the ending to keep the story going.
So if im honest its not an 10/10 anime more an 8 or 7/10. But i cant be honest it was the first anime i watched and because of that it got some extra points.
Im sorry but my heart dont let me give this anime something less than an 10/10.
I will definitely recommend this anime to everyone.
