Although I still enjoyed the movie, I feel it lost much of the tone of the first season and focused too heavily on action and flashy fights. The thing that made the first season so compelling was the gradual decent into the unknown abyss and the slow understanding of Reg's power. Now he's just pulling new powers of out of his ass left and right and I feel like I'm just watch dragon ball z. Not that I'm not into that kind of thing, I just feel like it's not a fit for the tone of this show. Also, I know Prushka is meant to be a super important character in the story, but I just can't bring myself to care about her in an hour. We already have a character that has been tortured and mistreated by Bondrewd, it's Nanachi. Should have made her the center of the story.
