Spoiler
Let's start by saying that, as a manga reader, I expected something more. The original ending, as we know, is very hated among the community, nevertheless I appreciated it and always believed it was fitting for the narrative and the themes covered.

War is a continuous succession, it cannot be stopped, and this is the key philosophy of the entire series. The years pass, people grow, society evolves, but the so-called utopia is all too difficult to achieve.

Complex and nihilistic themes are those that are exposed to us among the numerous internal monologues of the characters. In the final episode, we meet a weakened Eren, a more human Eren, different from the monster we were used to see. He finally confesses his feelings for Mikasa to his best friend, Armin, and reveals his true plan. He didn't want to reject his humanity, like he did, he just wanted to save his friends. He knew he couldn't stop war, so he created distruction.

Mikasa, contrary to what fans say, achieves her true growth, maturation and balance in this last episode. with the choice to kill Eren, Mikasa renounces her feelings for the common good, finally departing from Eren's character. We see an amazing character development in the last 30 minutes, just for her to return a simp.

talking about the technical department, mappa studio managed to do a magnificent job with the animations, and the soundtrack is extremely impactful. My only flaw is Vogel im kafig that's missing.

Plot: 9/10
Animations: 9/10
Drawings: 8/10
Score: 9/10
Enjoyment: 10/10

From an objective point of view, the episode would deserve a 9, but my heart feels like giving it a solid 10!
