DDMM's cute enchanted forest aesthetic combined with it's dark subject matters creates a unique experience for horror readers. The series does cover sensitive topics like suicide, so keep that in mind before deciding to read it. The art is masterfully drawn, putting a lot of care into character designs as well as background details. All of the characters have unique designs and personalities while showing their individual strengths and shortcomings. The series also balances out its darker moments with some comic relief which is nice. I recommend it for fans of series that contrast cute aesthetics with serious subjects like Madoka Magica.
