Its premise was simple and straight forward. Make a makjang drama people will be interested in to save himself(the MC). Its pretty ridiculous if I do say so myself, as drama's ratings are volatile.
This means that, he(the mc) has a goal that is pretty much impossible to achieve. While this is a bad thing as having volatile goals could produce a lackluster ending, this will also give the author some leeway to prolong the series if need be in case that this work proved to be really interesting.
While they implemented the idea of system into this story, so far, I don't see any reason why this element exists. When you ignore this element, you have a pretty good story where in, instead of regressing with a ghost attached to you, it felt like he got guidance from a divine being but he pretty much learned everything that divine being has to offer and they(the divine being) are pretty much useless afterwards.
This also means that he(the MC) won't be constricted with time limit and has just set his life goal to producing a legendary makjang story people will love.
