Why is this the best anime to come out in the last few years?
Two words - Character development
The anime has done an amazing job telling the story of Rudeus Greyrat and his adventures, but what makes it stand out is how realistic the emotions and thoughts are. The character development through the series has been one of the most compelling that this seasoned viewer has seen in many years of anime.
I would recommend this series to everyone as one of the best isekai anime series in the summer 2023 season at the least.
