All the characters were very charming and oddly realistic and relatable despite their out-there personalities and gimmicks. It feel kind of like what anime club used to be like in high school, all the oddballs put together in a pit where they all think they're the main character.

A lot of reviews don't seem to like that Komi continues to be silent/near silent and progress is made in incredibly small increments but I think it's more realistic that way. She doesn't overcome her problems just because people like her. I like the focus on her being understood as she is rather than being forced to become someone she's not. Also this is a strange compliment for a silent character but I think her voice actress does an awesome job giving her so much personality through noises alone.

Slice of Life isn't really my bag but despite all that this was an easy 8 for me, bordering on 9. If you like this genre more than I do I imagine it'll be a total hit with you, an easy 9 or 10.
