mc starts off as your typical "ive reincarnated and am a prodigy" trope but with a surprising level of favor. In his past life he spent 30 years in MMA and of course this means he beats everyone in murim as a kid and young adult and he makes it to top 50 martial artists in the world and gets acknowledge by all the usual suspects. Then he runs into a random mercenary in a scenario out of the imagination of an excited kindergartener. Their meeting starts with mc narrowly dodging a sword thrust towards his face without warning while he is escaping with a ledger of corrupt business dealings the mercenary is apparently hired to protect. Keep in mind MC has 30 years of experience as a legendary MMA fighter + 15 years of murim at this point and has beaten one of the top 60 strongest martial artists yet for some reason he gets completely destroyed by someone around his age working for a random third rate corrupt official and not only that, after he has been beaten up this merc decides to go "wow u suck go get stronger until we meet again" and walk off letting mc escape with the ledger he was meant to protect despite having no reason to do so and every reason to just kill mc and take it back. The tempo of the story then grinds to a complete halt and the quality of the drawings drop significantly. I suspect the entire cast died in a tragic accident and was replaced last second to meet the weekly release schedule without breaks. May they all rest in peace
