It was a fun, stress-free ride. Excellent art and animation, as usual with Ufotable, the action is also on top, so relaxing while watching is the most it.
But there are several problems. Due to the fact that the film is absolutely not self-sufficient and there are almost no global events, if you skip it and go straight to the second season, then you will literally lose nothing. Because at the beginning of the second season, they quickly explain all the main events.
But I would rather recommend than not, mostly just because of the animation, the story is weak.
The main villain is annoying by the way, and the subconscious of the characters was a little disappointing, because I wanted something more interesting.
