This manga is so near and dear to my heart. Soul Eater was the first anime I had ever watched and, therefore first "real" manga I had ever read. As a middle schooler, I only read bits and pieces, so the story was incomplete for me for almost a decade. I'm so glad I finally decided to read it, because the story is amazing. Once it deviated from the anime, I remember eagerly flipping through the pages, seeing new content I had never seen before. The characterization is amazing, with each character's relationship with one another feels so natural. The characters also stand out with their big personalities, and the worldbuilding is pretty cool. The only con is the blatant and horrible fan service randomly placed in the middle of chapters, but love love love Soul Eater
