The only reason I give the story a 7 is because it had amazing potential. This could have easily broken my top 10 anime, but as time went by, they took almost every wrong turn possible. If they would have stayed with the original feel of the show, I'm certain it would be far better.
Art:
I really have to give them props for the art. It was unique to a point beyond measure. I have NEVER seen such colorful/emotional art in any series I've seen. The art told just as much story as words did. From flowery happy emotions to, dark sad emotions. You could feel it all in the art. While I wouldn't like this sort of art on most series, it fit the overall feel really well.
Sound:
The sound wasn't too amazing. While a few tunes caught my attention, It didn't really stand out. But again, they made it fit the story really well.
Character:
While their characters were unique, most were unnecessary, annoying, 'I-want-to-shoot-you-through-the-face' characters. Character progression was awful, it was either too big of jumps or far too subtle. It didn't really match the flow of the story. With the exception of Sovereignty.
Enjoyment:
C3 was more of a "I'll keep watching, maybe it'll get better" anime. The first few episodes were "Aww, I have to wait another week?" but it quickly became watching it just for the small hope it will throw some shot of amazement at you. Wasn't my most enjoyable anime to watch, and I would usually watch it last.
Overall:
Overall it wasn't so great. It had potential. But the story took a turn for the worst, the characters were just plain bad. But they did everything else just fine.
