the current mushoku tensei arc is definitly a harsh one with rudeus being all depressed and borken. I can understand all the hate that the show is currently getting however this really depends on who is watching. For me personally, mushoku tensei is more than just some weird 2023 isekai. Given the time the light novel was started mushoku tensei was one of the first isekai and one of the best isekai animes. Furthurmore, the character relationships and the world building is one of the best. So many scenes have left me comparing my own family problems to what Rudeus deals with his dad and others. So many scenes have left me lamenting. I would even go as far as to comparing this current arc to evangelion and Shinji's character.
Also the opening is 10/10
