This show was a great series, and found it to be a bit better than Lucky Star, because it had a plot that was a bit funnier.
The plot of Azumanga Daioh was like Lucky Star, like I said before. It's random, and pointless, but worth watching.
The art style was good, shading, everything else was good when it came to art. The character design was outstanding, because not only their apparel was another way to explain their personality, but they were very definable by who is who, you can only get mixed up with Ayumu and Kaorin at points, but overall, it's very good.
The sounds were your every day comedy SFX, and the soundtrack was also good, I had to get it, but there were sounds that got on my nerves, for being irritating, but I find it to be a creative choice of sounds.
Characters in this anime were one of the most creative I've ever scene, but a little bit to over-used, but they used some traits I rarely see, like Ayumu, and how spacey she is,not even adderall could get her on track... That was a little joke, anyways, Chiyo, the 10 year old genius, also adorable, but you have your usually over-used characters, like Tomo the hyper one, Sakaki the scary looking, but shy and sensitive one, Yomi the serious one, and Kagura the one who is fit.
I enjoyed it, it was those animes that were lucky to be dubbed, if you are into animes like this, I'd recommend this.
