I've seen this anime get a lot of hate, this is mainly from social justice warriors who can't accept that fiction is sometimes there to make someone feel happy & fluffy even if it isn't realistic. It's a healing school-life romance anime.
The episodes are a bit slow-paced but nice. The point of this genre of anime is not really the plot, but it does have relationship & character development. The character backstories are not overly dark or traumatic, but that's okay, some people deal differently with things & it doesn't need to be a drastic thing to make the character get hurt by it. I like how their feelings & romance develop slowly. Some girls actually do like taking care of people even if it's for self-satisfaction. The ML's actions are a bit unbelievable at times, seeing how pure or gentlemanly he is, but I appreciate that in this anime since it's so rare.
The animation & art is really pretty & smooth, especially the eyes & light effects.
The background music fits well in every scene, though not very memorable.
All my friends enjoyed this anime as well, so I don't think I'm being too biased. If you like iyashikei or school romance I'm pretty sure you'll like this. If you're into full equality of gender roles, 100% realistic trash human personalities, annoyingly stereotypical abuse of male characters, over-sexualisation of female characters, harem or ecchi then this show is probably not for you ^^.
