Mixed Feelings
Spoiler
I picked up this manhwa because it had an interesting premise and great artwork, and I was right to do so! I enjoyed the dual focus on both relationships and how they intertwined. The lore was fascinating and every couple was adorable.

But here are my criticisms...
The focus on each relationship was not well-balanced. The first third of the story focuses on the main protagonists/couple, Yohan and Yoonsung. Once they are well established, the rest of the story focuses on the secondary couple, Donga and Chunho. It felt as if the main couple became a second thought until the very last chapter, which abruptly returned the focus to them. I would've preferred a more even distribution of relationship progress (and you'll see why).

The lore/drama between Donga and Chunho was teased for so long, but the author revealed everything very quickly near the end of the story. It felt rushed and was difficult to grasp the sudden info dump of their long history together. Again, it seems like there was a pacing issue, or the author was forced to wrap the story up quickly, which is a shame because I feel like it really could've shined with some better planning.

My biggest gripe is with how the story wrapped up. The last couple of chapters were like whiplash, quickly jumping from hope to tragedy, to grief, to acceptance, and lastly to a time skip. For all the build-up for Donga and Chunho finally rekindling their past relationship, specifically Chunho regaining his lost memories and the pair experiencing a relationship together once more, we saw none of it!! All we got was a promise from the Jade Emperor to return Chunho's memories and allow the couple to ascend to heaven. I can't be the only one who wanted to see how they lived together in heaven, Donga's adjustment to his newfound identity as a three-legged crow, potentially joining his twin brothers in serving the Jade Emperor, and how he dealt with the grief of no longer communicating with Yohan. But, unfortunately, we got none of that. Such an unsatisfying ending to an otherwise enjoyable story.

Overall, I'd still recommend reading it but don't expect a well-balanced story with a satisfying ending.
