Honestly...it could have been done better. I'm not saying it was bad. The art style and the characters were all good, but the story was pretty predictable. The love story between the human Senka Ikusabe and the beastman Dieter wasn't anything new - it was the hothead in love with the down-to-earth type of person...which is basically a cliche in most Japanese manga (or anime). I mean, I did like that it took some time for their chemistry to develop. And seeing Senka be the one with the choker/collar was an interesting thought. And Dieter having trouble with humans because of his past trauma, does give him some character development. But again, the hothead who's in love with the other person, but doesn't want to admit it...has been done too many times.

Also, beastmen being able to turn human...how do they do that? Was it explained, 'cause I don't remember. Even Dieter hiding from the authorities, I also don't remember why. Maybe it's because I just couldn't bring myself to get into the story. The love that Senka and Dieter had for each other was believable, as over time their chemistry quickly blossomed. Senka also helped Deiter get a proper job, and remember about all the good things that happened in his life (no matter how small they were). Finally, what was the point of that fantasy chapter with Schwartz, Gertrude, Ember Last? What did they have to do with most of the story?

There wasn't enough intimate moments, and I also wished that they kept it uncensored; when things are censored, it's never fun to see. It may basically be "beastiality", but it was greenlighted and created for a reason. So keep it uncensored, if you please. I don't know if other people will like it, but I suppose they should at least give it a chance.
