If you want to sum up anime to your normal friends, show them the first episode of this anime. They will either be confused or it'll hook them faster than a shotgun wedding. We get the whole maid cafe "Moe Moe Kyun!" with the throw back to old Yakuza films like "Battles without Honor and Humanity". Heck, they even mix in the trumpets for that Tarantino feel. I'm a huge sucker for classics, and I was amazed that this show managed to create a ridiculous concept and make it work. This show is highly underrated and I feel as if more people should see it since it's funny and interesting. It just takes your concept of what an anime should be and cranks it over 9000. I've seen some ridiculous shows and this is by far one of the most ridiculous shows I've ever seen and it's amazing.
