This shit made me cry so hard! It's not what I expected this film to be, but it was so much more. Instead of just a feel good movie, it showed us a depth none of us predicted from this film. It shows how hard not letting go or moving on hits not only the grieving party, but everyone around them. This film went beyond and I will gladly cry again if it means getting to share this with those around me!

The art definitely fits with the fact that it was not adults, but children experiencing all that happens here. With this art style you're able to more happily enjoy the good moments it shows, along with the pain that a child feels through their soft innocence. The style isn't hard even though the plot is darker than expected. I believe that's because even through their fright, worry, and pain the characters keep hoping for everything to be okay, and coming back to each other no matter how hard they fight or disagree.

I'm especially happy that not one character was no comon sense kimd of stupid. No one character was especially smart compared to the rest and no one was condescending to the others dispite the high stress situation. Sure there were a lot of hurtful things said between some of them, but they are scared children who had no idea how to get home. They needed to find someone to blame, sometimes it's easier to be angry rather than scared. There was even a moment where a question testing their humanity came up and that debat still ended in them continously not leaving anyone behind. I love how there was no obvious leader, no character was higher or lower than the others. They worked together using their heads to kept working and figure things out. Everyone had the right type of fears for people their age in that situation. Maybe in real life kids their age would have freaked out more, but it makes sense since this is a film that they snapped back quicker.

Highly recommended 😭❤️
