This was a really fun anime to watch. It is your general shoujo manga shenanigans, with a slight twist of our protagonist being stronger than your average girl. I find this twist very refreshing.

Plotwise, there's nothing really new here. It is your classic high school rom-com. Boy and girl are obviously attracted to each other, but for the hell of them cannot figure it out. It is up to the supporting characters to encourage them or meddle and interfere with their affair. Let it be known that I love cliches when it is well-executed. By all means, this anime executes its cliches very well. It is not a masterpiece, per se. But my god, it is entertaining. I find myself giggling every single episode.

I do love the characters as well.

Tomo's candid and straightforward personality makes for good comedy. Jun's obliviousness is quite hilarious as well. The rest of the supporting characters also complement the anime really well. The voice acting was really good as well. (Takahashi Rie has really good range!)

One might argue that the characters are written is a rather one-dimensionally. I do think that for this type of story, the characterization is quite well done. It gets the point across, and the story is quite well-developed as well. For a 13-episode anime, I think that this is quite alright. I enjoy comedy for light-watching so too much background might make the anime hard to digest.

Do give this one a try.
