Binge watched the whole anime in one seating. I had no idea what to expect coming into this anime; all I knew was Bojji is going to be the best boy, and he indeed is along with Kage his trusty sidekick.

The story is very well thought out, has many touching and emotional scenes that made me tear up multiple times, and is extremely wholesome and inspiring. It teaches many important life lessons like friendship, happiness, hard work, morals, strengths & weaknesses, etc. Watching Bojji grow, overcome challenges, and become the "strongest" boy was very fulfilling; I'm sure everyone that watched Ousama Ranking cheered for Bojji like he was their own son. He is just so precious.

The character development is AMAZING; each character is memorable, has depth and purpose, strong connections with other characters, and is able to have their own moment to shine. Because of this, the story was able to be successful (no one wants an anime that has sloppy character development). I was invested with each character Bojji meets. Although the story is a bit one-sided towards Bojji and some people may think it's too easy for him, it really is up to personal taste. I personally enjoyed it and thought it was tense enough.

Loved the art style, openings, and combat. Honestly loved everything about this anime. Don't have much else to say other than give Ousama Ranking a try if you want to watch something wholesome, heart-warming and emotional with good combat, character development and a story that is not too tense.
