This anime could have easily been one of the top anime to start off the year unfortunately the 12 episode format killed not only the world building needed for a politically driven anime, but also hurt it’s pacing. You get blood, magic, vampires, dragons and an intense sibling rivalry for daddie’s throne. Viauslly this anime meets all standards for top notch visuals with its rich, bright dynamic and and sharp animation. This series is a Yuri where the MC builds somewhat of a harem, while being a total bad ass, but there are plenty of wholesome touching moments.The action sesaws as it mixes adventure/action with soft slice of life moments. Less is more I guess. If you want to see a strong female lead be a total badass with a little game of thrones drama then youll enjoy this one. I doubt people will still talk about it a year from now but it definitely deserves all the praise it gets.
