Betrayal? Those things does not make any sense, Idol? Why the hell is it in this anime? Seriously producers or directors did not think about the compatibility? Bad plot, bad dialogues, bad story play, only good thing would be some scenes that somehow makes sense.
Look, there are better stories to animate, rather than spending money on stupid stuff it would be better to animate those if possible.
After reading this if you still want to give it a try I would say you should, cause rather than relying on anyone's review or rating, one should try out the first two episodes of every anime to judge for themselves, which I also did.
