Aside from some of the action scenes, it stays consistent with the level of animation for the most part in my opinion. And I think the art style fits well with the characters. Other than that it´s a great fantasy anime. I apreciate this show because the story is pretty interesting with very likeable characters with pretty good backstories. You really get to feel empathy for what happened to them in their past and end up wanting to see them overcome the issues that such experiences caused them. The opening and specially ending are awesome by the way.
It´s a show that made trauma feel like trauma and how they aren't healed yet but better than where they first started was something was something very realistic and nice to see.
This is a show that is worth watching and I really hope it gets a S2.
