The "side" characters where not annoying and actually helpful to the development of the main plot while being unique on their own. Some of their actions are still kinda cliché and expected but overall I think they fulfill their job pretty well.
The part I liked a lot about this manga was the way chapters are structured. Since it's usually just 4 panels per page, the comedic creativity makes it really great in many cases. The author is also able to really fit a lot of detail and content into each page and chapter.
In the end, I feel like this manga covered soooooooooo much in the span of 8 volumes. The ending was super satisfying and fluffy, didn't feel rushed at all. The characters were fun but got serious when it needed to be.
