- first thing first
what an absolute huge and unbelievable letdown to what was once considered a modren masterpiece.
_ The damage had already been done by the too much unnecessary delays that killed the hype and excitement and unbelievable milking of the franchise to all of its worth by studio Mappa (which is a fair game and good bussins move) who with all of its achievements and resources and most importantly with the amazing talented (and very overworked) staff couldn't raise the bar that studio Wit sit high for Aot after season 3.
- The Too much unnecessary conflicts and wasted sacrifices and totally butchering the alliance storyline by stupid plot points and unwanted and uncalled love scenarios and unholy amounts of cringe and the sudden shift from realism and crushing tragedy of the life and unforgiving world to the styrotypical shounen power of friendship didn't help the already weak narrative left for the side characters after Eren started the rumbling.
_ Story and narrative 6/10.
- even though Mappa didn't deliver the visual and musical saga that was expected from them to conclude such epic piece of fiction they still did a very good job in animation department and you can tell that they did put a lot of effort into thier work
_ Visual and animation 8/10.
_ Music and Ost 8/10.
_ in conclusions the AOT final season part 3 part 1 episode 1 didn't deliver what it was expected to be the final step to conclude a great and epic story that made huge imperassion on a lot of people wither they are old anime fans; new anime fans or even the casuals and the Normies.
_ overall rating 7/10 because even with all of it problems and flouse
Attack on titan still Attack on titan.
