This show's message on unbidden emotions and trauma are lost in the half-baked worldbuilding, poorly written characters, and overly-ambiguous plot and ending that doesn't match the in-your-face nature of the rest of the show. And that's not even mentioning the graphic violence and nudity because it'd be too easy to tear this show down if I did. It's been over fifteen years since I was in middle school and not watching it then (my anime friends then raved on its 'maturity' while I didn't believe them) was time saved. Though I did watch it eventually, so I guess not. The opening song is good, in my opinion.
