Ok, I'll be honest, I started watching this anime thinking it was a generic wizarding adventure isekai. But no, I was wrong. It's about 2 classmates who, to kill time, start playing an otome game (girl's game), as part of the main character's practice. But technically speaking this show is not an isekai. The protagonists can be heard within the game, whose characters treat them as gods. Revealing more of the plot could be considered spoilers and I don't want to do any. The story is quite funny. Romance mainly happens within the game, in real life find out for yourself by watching the anime. At episode 5, when I'm writing this, a strange event happened, I really recommend you to start the anime.
The characters well, here it fails a bit. Personally, I really like Lieselotte's personality, she is a bit out of the typical bully princess cliché. But I think that the protagonists Kobayashi, Endou and Siegwald should have a better development. The story is basically based on Siegwald saying "oh, how cute is Lieselotte". But it doesn't have much of a development of its own at the time I'm writing this. And we know little about Kobayashi and Endou's past, about how they met. Obviously this can change, for example, in episode 5 a new character was slightly introduced who has been present since previous episodes without saying who he is. But of course, the anime is not even halfway through, I reserve the right to change my opinion if this is reversed in future episodes
The art is nothing special to write about, it fits well with the era, but it's not great art and neither is the soundtrack. Average and I have nothing to comment
To finish, I repeat, I reserve the right to change my opinion. While this anime is enjoyable so far, it's just killing time and you won't have a great story. I won't tell you it's a waste of time, but I can't recommend it either. It's not boring, not for me, but it's not something I particularly like either. Yes, I get excited watching the chapters, even as a man when I watch anime I look like a fangirl, but even so it is not something that I would say "you have to watch"
