Dad Bear Gorilla and I is such an underrated gem that hardly anyone will talk about it when it comes to mentioning manga with Childcare/Slice of Life theme. The characters are lovable, the character development is very amazing and every character fits into the story so perfectly, that it really gives a peaceful read for the viewers.

The main child character Michiru, resembles highly like Anya Forger, and she is cute, smart and carefree. Not only there's comedy involved, but this manga has all sorts of genres, office romance like Wotakoi, mismatch romance of Bear Gorilla like Ore Monogatari, and many moments that reflects a changed life after someone loses someone important.

Never did I thought, a simple SOL story about 3 people and various people in their life would turn out to be such an amazing story. I highly recommend reading this manga if you are looking for a liad back story with love, comedy, family relations and childhood nostalgies.
