While it has been compared to animes like Ao Ashi I think Blue lock has been one of the best sport animes so far, when it comes to characters we can see how good most of them evolve into a complete new different person.
If we talk about the history it's pretty solid giving us constant improvements of the players & teams and letting us see how hard things can be in such a competitive sport. While I think the could've adapted it better it's an anime.
