It gets so bad at the end of one boring episode they have a character burst in with an shocking announcement before cutting to credits. Guess the excitement starts next episode? No, you might think that, but that bait to watch the episode was a total lie. They do another entire episode of slice of life BS before people remember that one character had a an urgent message that couldn't wait. So stupid. I'm not sure if you read that right so I'd like to say it again. They do a cliffhanger dramatic announcement at the end of one episode, and then the next episode doesn't address the dramatic announcement at all. It's like you've been watching several episodes dragon ball z where the good and bad guys have been standing there talking, then it is finally about to get to the big fight, and right when a character is about to start charging up it suddenly smash cuts to the worst, most boring filler arc crap you have ever seen with no explanation at all. It's not just bad in itself, some of the plot points and pacing actively don't make sense, it feels like the story is being told by a schizophrenic. So it is already incredibly boring and lame but then on top of that it doesn't make sense.
The show stands at a crossroads and I still have my fingers crossed it can get good again. I will watch another season if it happens but I'll also be ready to drop the show without regret if they go back to the feeling this half of the season had.
