It's a simple heart-touching story. The anime definitely should have an Iyashikei tag. Little Lars gets separated from his father while he was asleep. Poor thing has to go through a lot before he reaches an island in Africa. There he meets a kind Hippo who takes him to his friend, Drago, an eagle. The journey to Drago was not an easy one. But Lars gets to enjoy so many new things, so many new animals, and foods. And deep in my heart, I felt a little sad for him, because Lars won't be able to do any of it when he gets home. Because though it's his home, the North Pole has nothing but white and snow.
But Lars does get home sound and safe, on the back of an Orca. Now, I was a little worried here cause I was expecting some sort of antagonist. I thought the orca would try to kill him or something. But the orca was a good guy too. In the end, Lars reunites with his dad and tells me all the things about his adventure. It was a happy ending. And I am happy.
