The plot has a good concept, but the problem is the delivery. It was interesting for the first 30 chapters, which I had been binging at that point, but it *seriously* fell off after that, which lead to lower motivation to finish reading, but I finished reading for the sake of finishing anyway, which is only chapt. 84 as it stopped updating. For a manga tagged as mystery, it reveals itself too fast, leaving little room for speculation, which is supposedly the bread and butter of the mystery genre.
The pacing is fast, quick to the point. As much as it is a positive, it is also a negative. It leaves no breathing room for the readers. I am talking about getting to know the characters in a lighter way. The manga only presents the characters in a way that says "woe is me, I was once happy, yet I was traumatized...", but at the same time, why would the reader expect a breathing room in a mystery manga? Anyway, what I mean is, the characters don't think like what an actual person would do. Sure, it's unique, but a bad kind of uniqueness.
Oh yeah, speaking of characters, none of them were memorable, except freckled blondie just cause she's hot—speaking of hot, let's talk art. A lot of the characters suffer from same-face syndrome, so it is easy to confuse one character for another even when they have unique outfits. The anatomy also annoys me very often. However, to the artist's credit, the monsters are drawn pretty good.
My overall enjoyment of the series started from high to low. After chapter 30, which, once again, I binged up to that point, I've only been reading on and off. I couldn't find it in me to continue reading, but I finished it anyways for the sake of finishing it.
So, anyways, WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS MANGA? Nope. For one, the manga is still ongoing, but hasn't seen any updates for a very long time. So if you wanna read to finish it, you're in the wrong place. Second, it's not worth it. Even applying my bias towards Gleipnir, I still think it is a waste of time.
