This is a wonderful show.

ONE has mastered the art of storytelling, and Mob Psycho 100 is his magnum opus.

Ignoring the filler arc that was within the middle of the show separating the two higher-quality arcs, this show is as good as it can get. The animation is wonderful, the writing is great, the editing, choreography, voice acting, music, and the overall themes are perfect. All memorable loose ends from the previous seasons have been tied up, whether it's a character, the notion of [redacted], or [redacted].

The biggest questions of the series get answered while leaving some interpretation to the viewers. In my previous season's review, I mention that there isn't a single line, shot, or character wasted. The same is true here, with the exception of the filler arcs, which only served to answer a few questions and cleared up some characters' arcs. That's why I removed one point from the overall rating.

This is a masterclass for writing.

Setting aside all "film critic-ness", the most important part of the show is the message. ONE's story ends up with the same outcome as the previous seasons which is this: It is very, very kind. Gentle, even. It's all about the beauty of being ordinary, accepting yourself and others, living your life, and valuing what is important in life, which Mob Psycho 100 insists is relationships, and I think they're right.

I would encourage you to have a seat, and let this show give you a hug. I'm sure you need it in this very cruel world.
