This author's line of work centers around tragedy through the eyes of innocence. A boy, living through a horrible situation, with only one thought, to kiss Angelina Jolie. In essence, this story was a little pocket of tragedy, sprinkled with how such innocence is peeled down to reveal the actual themes of the story.
Trauma, something scary for all of us, something you can't escape with anything. A coping mechanism is to simply eliminate thoughts and silent moments, to not allow anything other than a goal. Without spoilers, this story is in reality an amazing ride of letting go and accepting life as it is. I loved this one-shot to bits, and it'll be one I recommend to anybody I can.
In terms of technical aspects, art is always great, story 10/10, and characters are great. Overall, I enjoyed this one a lot.
